Holiday Caravan Sites (Wales) Bill
Response from: Patch Caravan Park

Dear Ms Chapman,

We are the owners of two caravan parks, Patch Caravan Park in Gwbert, Cardigan and Llwyngwair Manor in Newport, Pembrokeshire.  These are holiday static and touring parks providing in total 290 pitches for static holiday vans and touring caravans.

I write in response to the consultation on the Holiday Caravan Sites (Wales) Bill.  My trade association, the BHHPA has responded on behalf of all members and I support their evidence to you.   I feel that they perhaps night have made a stronger case in rejecting proposals which create unnecessary red tape and which are clearly anti- business.

I ask that you ensure that my park businesses are not burdened with unnecessary regulations and placed at a competitive disadvantage, jeopardising the direct and indirect employment which we sustain and which in the area that they operate are significant Rate payers.
